Executive Producer / Senior Producer Kathy Kelehan leads Navette Studio and brings over two decades of bi-coastal producing experience to the team. Starting her career in the New York City music video scene of the 90s, she later joined Balsmeyer & Everett / Big Film Design to produce visual effects and title sequences for filmmakers such as Spike Lee, Joel & Ethan Coen, and Wes Anderson.
In 2005 she moved to Los Angeles and joined Imaginary Forces, where she continued to produce and lead business development for IF's feature film division. In 2012 she co-founded Alma Mater, a visual design, live action and animation studio for which she served as EP / Producer and CFO until leaving in 2017 to pursue her own creative endeavors.
She has produced titles and VFX for films such as 21 & 22 Jump Street, and The Lego Movie, and TV shows such as HBO's The Pacific, Fox’s Last Man on Earth and Starz' Magic City, for which she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Title Design. She has also produced broadcast commercial projects for clients such as AT&T, Ford, RAM and Nike, as well as experience design projects for American Express at LA Live, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Lexus and Apple.
